Tyra II is Denmark’s new high-tech hub for natural gas production in the Danish North Sea. A redevelopment of the Tyra field is was necessary due to the field’s natural subsidence after many years of production. The platforms have sunk nearly 5 meters over the past 35 years.
Engineers from all over the world are involved on this project. InterDam is really proud to have designed and supplied all the project’s architectural items like H60 fire walls, doors and windows. Both sliding doors as well as hinged doors.
We’re really happy to be a part of this project and provided solutions on the redevelopment of the Wellhead Platform, the Living quarter Platform and the Central Processing Platform.
Even though we are a little piece of this puzzle, to provide safety the little pieces are weighing quite heavy. Providing certificates and products to keep everyone safe on the platform.
